With Christian women entering into the political arena more frequently, it is necessary to take a look at exactly what Christianity teaches about women.
We are reminded, of course, of Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann's remark about "submitting to her husband," which means just that:
Submission, not "respect" or any other sophistic excuse. Indeed, the same Greek word for "submissive" found in Colossians 3:18 - ?p?t?ss? or "hypotasso" -
appears also at Titus 2:9, in Paul's exhortation for slaves to be submissive to their masters.
This Greek word hypotasso means (Strong's G5293):
1) to arrange under, to subordinate
2) to subject, put in subjection
3) to subject one's self, obey
4) to submit to one's control
5) to yield to one's admonition or advice
6) to obey, be subject
The fact remains that the male-dominant patriarchal religions, such as Judaism, Christianity and Islam, require women to be in an inferior position.

Summary of New Testament Quotes about women
It is good for a man not to touch a woman, so that he is not tempted to "immorality" and does not "defile" himself. Men are the "heads" of their wives and the
"glory of God," whereas the woman is merely the "glory of man." Man was not created from woman, but woman from man. Women must be submissive in everything
and subject to their husbands, who, again, are their "heads." Women should not speak in church but must remain subordinate and learn in submissiveness.
No woman can teach or have authority over men. Girls and women must be "trained" to love and to be sensible, chaste, domestic and submissive to their husbands.

I wish I could buy into your argument, but as a rationalist I can't ignore facts and factually, you're wrong.
Without going into the history of organized atheism, in modern times it has caused more deaths, pain and suffering
than any other philosophical system ever devised. Karl Marx's "Das Kapital" is the basis for modern Communism and
is thus responsible, as an accessory, to the deaths of 20,000,000 Russians under Stalin, 1,000,000 under the rule

Be ready for it with this nice solar cell made of glass-enclosed copper indium diselenide.
Measures 2-3/8" square x 3/32" thick and is rated for 4.5VDC at 50mA.
Has (2) 1" long contact strips for output; the negative strip is marked.
Made in the USA.37731 4.5 VDC SOLAR CELL $8.75
This looks like it would do the job of charging three NiCd, NiMh or LiPo cells.
This is about as cheap as I've seen for something like this, at retail.

This is a "Bright" white LED, with wide angle dispersion. $2.39 each.
I think several of these (probably 5) would be good for a prototype.
The 20 mA current draw would allow the use of smaller and cheaper batteries.
5 would draw a total of 100 mA.
I doubt that five of these would produce the amount of lumens that a single potentially-cheaper
Luxeon Rebel would,but the light from five of these would be more dispersed in the bag, and the
much lower current draw is a big plus.
I'm assuming we'll probably have an on-off switch involved.
Other components would include a current-limiting resistor for each LED, a blocking diode for the
solar cell array,so current only goes from the array, and not back into it (the solar cell array) in the dark.

NiCd Batteries (3 reqd.)

The above is a 4/5 AA NiCd cell rated at 900 mA/hours.
$1.09 each. With 5 of the above LEDs, these batteries would power the light for 9 hours on a full charge.
This might be an adequate amount of time.

This is an AA size battery which has a capacity of 2,300 mA/hours. $1.45 each.
This may be overkill, as nobody would normally have a light going for 23 hours
non-stop. There might be some benefits to the greater capacity, though.
The solar panel above would require 14 hours of daylight to charge these,
I think.
Lithium Ion battery 3.7V (1 reqd.)

This has the same mA/hour capacity as the above NiCd, and the voltage of three cells,
so it saves weight and parts count. $3.94 price is a little less than a dollar more than three of the NiCds.
And, it's actually cheaper than three NiMh cells.
Not as high capacity, but again, 9 hours should be adequate.
I don't think the NiCd cells would require much in the way of charging circuitry.
Ni-Mh and Li-Fe batteries are pickier about charging current, and usually require a "smart"
charging circuit to charge safely.
For that reason alone, NiCd batteries might have the edge.
There are higher capacity NiCds from the same source, for example:

That is ignoring large areas of Aussie that can only support 1 Abbo per 100 square miles.

Look at Easter Island
area 163.6 sq km = 40426.28 sq acres or 101,065 1/4 acres, yet? the population only reached about 13,000 before it
went into terminal decline. The oil driven equivalent population could have reached 6x that, just like the whole planet now.
The Easter Island population ended up at about 100.

We cant keep tapping an oil well until theres nothing left. When an oil well is 40-50% it starts to become incredibly
difficult to extract oil. The sweet light stuff is at the top, and the heavy, full of sand plus other crap is at the bottom.
Not only does it take more energy to extract but you get less energy out of it.

after studying all week for it, trying to memorize the formulas. Instead, I should have learned proofs much better. That way,

designed above ground to not obstruct rural wildlife, and they have no risk of crashing like trucks do... If we grid that to
every major urban area we could eliminate long haul? truck driving entirely, and have distribution centers making short
runs with smaller trucks, which could at least be run on bio-diesel.

@wildwindsca I think the bigger problem is that oil companies own the US government. Nikola Tesla has over 6000
patents locked up under the? pretext of having military applications, many of them are zero point energy machines which
can't be metered and would provide free energy for everyone. I limited my previous suggestions to the solutions we're
"allowed" to discuss seriously. Electric cars are still feasible. Electro-magnetic railways would be much better for shipping.

This looks like it would do the job of charging three NiCd, NiMh or LiPo cells.
This is about as cheap as I've seen for something like this, at retail.

This is a "Bright" white LED, with wide angle dispersion. $2.39 each.
I think several of these (probably 5) would be good for a prototype.
The 20 mA current draw would allow the use of smaller and cheaper batteries.
5 would draw a total of 100 mA.
I doubt that five of these would produce the amount of lumens that a single potentially-cheaper
Luxeon Rebel would,but the light from five of these would be more dispersed in the bag, and the
much lower current draw is a big plus.
I'm assuming we'll probably have an on-off switch involved.
Other components would include a current-limiting resistor for each LED, a blocking diode for the
solar cell array,so current only goes from the array, and not back into it (the solar cell array) in the dark.
Some battery options:
NiCd Batteries (3 reqd.)

The above is a 4/5 AA NiCd cell rated at 900 mA/hours.

This is an AA size battery which has a capacity of 2,300 mA/hours. $1.45 each.
This may be overkill, as nobody would normally have a light going for 23 hours non-stop.
There might be some benefits to the greater capacity, though.
The solar panel above would require 14 hours of daylight to charge these, I think.
Lithium Ion battery 3.7V (1 reqd.)

This has the same mA/hour capacity as the above NiCd, and the voltage of
three cells, so it saves weight and parts count.
$3.94 price is a little less than a dollar more than three of the NiCds.
And, it's actually cheaper than three NiMh cells.
Not as high capacity, but again, 9 hours should be adequate.
I don't think the NiCd cells would require much in the way of charging circuitry.
Ni-Mh and Li-Fe batteries are pickier about charging current, and usually require
a "smart" charging circuit to charge safely.
For that reason alone, NiCd batteries might have the edge.
There are higher capacity NiCds from the same source, for example:

Today, China is the second largest consumer of oil, just after the United States. But with one of the highest rates of growth on
the planet, its energy needs are increasing seven times faster, while its reserves are depleting. China is unable to produce the
oil it needs today. It has to import half of it. In the next three years this number will increase to two-thirds, if not its whole
economy will collapse.
Lacking its own source of oil, China is dependent on the rest of the world. Hence it's imperative to find new countries to provide
it and secure these supplies in an increasingly unstable world.
In this crusade for black gold, China is already in direct conflict with the current greatest consumer of the world's oil: the United States.
BATTLE FOR OIL investigates the new world geopolitics that is emerging around the needs of both the world's leading superpower
and the world's fastest growing economy to secure future supplies of oil.
Chinese oil companies are signing deals in countries like Venezuela, Iran, Sudan, Chad and Angola. In exchange, China has given

Stuck away on More4 where anything even remotely controversial seems to get put these days was an absolutely fantastic stand up
show by Robert Newman.

In a previous review I mentioned that some of the best analysis of this war (in terms of motives at least) has come from the comedians.
